Our Summer Trip

We spent the last two weeks in Georgia and Tennesee visiting family. We had a great time catching up with everyone. I don't have many pictures from Georgia...normally, one of us takes pics while the other one corrals the kids. But I was in Georgia by myself and although I love pictures of my family, there were no free hands. : )

My sister was directing Vacation Bible School (which Sam calls Vocation Bible School), so we spent the mornings helping out there. The boys got to be a part of VBS at the church where I grew up, so that was nice. We spent the rest of our days relaxing in my parents' pool and hanging out with family. It was a busy week, but we had a great time. We even made time to patronize the local Burger King. : )

After a week in Georgia, we picked Keith up in Atlanta and headed to Tennesee. We made a quick trip to Knoxville to spend a little time with Keith's brother and his family. There were silly string fights, impromptu golf lessons and all sorts of little boy fun for Sam, Stephen and their cousin, Jack.

The silly string battle and the aftermath...

All three kids cruised the yard (and almost took out the mailbox) in Jack's Jeep...

We ended our trip at Gigi and Daddy Phil's house in Franklin, Tennessee. We had a blast spending time with family and hanging out on their awesome back porch (that can also serve as an impromptu water park).
