Week 12 Training Update

Miles walked this past week: 40.95 --Yup! That's right. I thought I walked my butt off, but unfortunately, I find it's still there. : )

Total Miles: 256.65 miles...the distance from our house to Beaumont, TX. I should be in Louisiana by the end of the week!

I walked a TON this week. Most of it was my OCD attempt to catch up on all of the mileage that I missed. I am thrilled to say that I am now only 4.5 miles behind. And compared to 16 miles behind last week, I will take it. The weekend mileage is going up every week, so this weekend I was supposed to walk 12 on Saturday (which I did) and 7 on Sunday (which I did NOT). I made it 2.5 miles and Sam had to potty. I was going to let him go behind a mailbox, but one of my neighbors walked by. I took it as a sign that it was okay for those miles to carry over. : )

Fundraising is going well. I am up to $550. I still have to earn at least $1750 to be able to walk. But I continue to trust that God will provide. It has been a great, busy last week at home with Sam---he starts school tomorrow. : (
