Our future "in-laws"

The boys and I drove to Brownsville, Texas this weekend to visit Mark and Belinda. They amazing friends...."family-like" friends from our former life in Birmingham. They have been "stationed" in Brownsville for almost 2 years working with To Every Tribe Ministries. They are forming a missionary team (actually with some other friends of ours) with the intent of heading to Papua New Guinea in a year or so. That said, we have to steal as much time as possible before it becomes WAY harder to get to them.

But for now, it is easy to get to them. If you count 6 hours of this easy....

Granted it is easier to get to than Papua New Guinea, but for an ADD girl like myself, 3 hours of this is a tough haul. Give me a billboard...a Stuckey's....anything! I am way too easily distracted for scenic Texas. : )

But enough whining! Belinda and Mark have two girls, both of which are exactly 3 1/2 months younger than each of our boys. So naturally, we have planned to marry them off one day. : ) But for now, we are just making sure they are really good friends.

So indulge me for a minute for some pics of our kids with our favorite Faulkner clan.

Snapshots from Brownsville....

Bradley tackles some watermelon
This will work well for the rehearsal dinner : )
This one has nothing to do with the Faulkner Clan...I just thought Stephen was looking particularly cute
first smoochies : )
