47 miles...

Sam finally earned all 47 stickers for walking with me! Actually, he was along for the ride on WAY more than 47 miles, but I needed him to stick with me for the whole summer. But he finally got there. So today, the Miller family headed to Schlitterbahn (a water park for my non-Texan friends). We were not sure how the kids were going to do...they are still a little young. But they made it from 9:30 until 3:00. At that point, we could feel the meltdowns coming, so we loaded up and headed for home.

But they had a great time...We spent most of the day in the kiddie areas, but they ended the day with a trip down the Wolfpack---a VERY big ride for 2 little guys. We learned that Stephen is the family daredevil. Sam would be hesitant to tackle a ride...Stephen would laugh in the face of danger. : ) But it worked out well. As soon as Sam saw Stephen try something new and survive, he was up for the challenge, too. Here they are at Schlitterbahn---Stephen's face is a little smushed, but it was the best we could do at the end of a long afternoon.
