Week 13 and 14 Training Update

Wow! All of sudden, typing that title made this event seem really close. : ) So here is the damage for the past 2 weeks:

Miles walked the past 2 weeks: 42.4
Total Miles: 210.7 miles (from our house to the fine city of Wallisville, TX. Seriously, how big is Texas anyway!)

I was in Brownsville last weekend, so I am behind on my mileage. I busted my butt to catch up this week and at some point, when sanity set in, I surrendered to being behind for more than a week. I will try to get completely caught up next week.

Fundraising is going well. So far, I have raised $450.00. Not too bad for 3 weeks. Even though I am nervous, I am trusting God that if I was meant to do this, the money will be there.

The mileage continues to get high....and the weather is really hot! It is supposed to rain some next week, so even though that brings cooler temperatures, the rain brings its' own set of challenges. But we will roll with it and see what happens.
